Castroviejo BJJ Shines at the IBJJF Pan Ams

Huge congratulations to our professors for representing Castroviejo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on one of the biggest stages in the sport.

🥈 Prof. Leandro Castroviejo – Silver Medal

Prof. Leandro delivered an outstanding performance, battling his way to the finals and securing silver in the Master 5 Ultra Heavy division.

Reaching the podium at the Pan Ams is no small feat—it’s one of the most competitive tournaments in the world, and this result reflects years of dedication, discipline, and high-level jiu-jitsu.

💪 Prof. Daniel “Mão de Broca” – Strong Run

Prof. Daniel put on a great performance as well, winning multiple matches and showing his trademark pressure and technique.

While he didn’t make the finals this time, his performance was a clear reminder of the level he brings—and why we’re lucky to have him leading classes at the academy.

More Than Medals

What stands out most isn’t just the results—it’s what they represent.

Both professors continue to train, compete, and evolve, bringing that same intensity and knowledge back to the mats in Redwood City. That directly benefits every student in the room, from day one beginners to advanced competitors.

What’s Next

The IBJJF season is just getting started, and we’re excited to see what comes next.
